As part of the Integrated Project INCLUD-ED. Strategies for inclusion and social cohesion in Europe from education of the 6th Framework Programme of the European Commission, the International Training Seminar for junior researchers took place on Tuesday, 14th of June in the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University Barcelona.

The seminar was organized by CREA research center and the Autonomous University of Barcelona and it was attended by 14 junior researchers from 12 European countries who had the opportunity to reflect and discuss with the researchers from the INCLUD-ED project team. As the results of the different projects in the seminar were addressed issues such as the connections between the elements of a system and actions of social agents and policies that contribute to the educational and social inclusion/ exclusion.

The seminar was opened by Mrs. Elisenda Paluzie, the Dean of the faculty. The different sessions of the seminar were presented by Dr. Ramon Flecha, the main researcher of the project, Dr. Marta Soler, the director of CREA, Dr. Teresa Sordé, lecturer of sociology at UAB, Dr. Esther Oliver and Dr. Sandra Racionero, researchers at UB .
