INCLUD-ED representatives were invited to present the project in the third meeting of the Expert Group on Access and Social Inclusion. The meeting was organized by the DG Education and Culture, the units on Lifelong Learning: Education and Training policies and Innovation and transversal policies.

The expert group combines cluster meetings in Brussels with Peer Learning Activities serving as site visits in different member states. INCLUD-ED was selected as one of the main research endeavours promoted by the EC in the next five years. Besides presenting the project’s scope, an special emphasis was placed in the critical communicative methodology, largely based on the social and political impact achieved by the FP5 RTD Workaló project.

Representatives of Ministries of Education, Ministries of Labor, researchers and other stakeholders of different state member were very interested in following the results that are expected to be obtained. As a follow up, Ramon Flecha has been invited by the Commission to serve as an expert for the next Peer Learning Activities (PLA) dedicated to Romaní education that will take place next month in  Hungary.
