Dr. Liz Todd is professor at the School of Education, Communication and Language Sciences of the Newcastle University (United Kingdom). She is a board member of the British Educational Research Association and coordinator of the Inclusive Education Network at the European Educational Research Association.

Defender of social justice, her research focuses in the interactions between schools and communities, after-school activities and their relation with exclusion, participation of youngsters in development, and research and approaches to democratic models to achieve social impact.

She has published dozens of articles in indexed journals as well as book. Her last book, “Partnerships for Inclusive Education: A Critical Approach to Collaborative Working”, was nominated for the Best academic book award NASEN/TES.
