The research center CREA-UB is one of the 22 European partners that will participatein the PROTON project coordinated by the Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, funded by
the European Commission under the research program Horizon 2020 for a period of 36 months. PROTON aims to improve our knowledge about the processes that lead to organized crime and terrorist
networks and their impact on social cohesion, in order to provide support to evidence-based policies at international, national and local levels. CREA-UB will contribute by/in investigating the social, psychological and economic factors that lead to the OCTN (Organised Crime and Terrorist Networks.
